A warm Aussie welcome!

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), in conjunction with the Internal Medicine Society of Australia & New Zealand (IMSANZ) and the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM), welcomes you downunder. Mark your diaries now to come and visit us in March 2010 for the prestigious World Congress of Internal Medicine which will be hosted in Melbourne, Australia. In 2010, the World Congress of Internal Medicine will be held in conjunction with the RACP’s annual meeting – Physicians Week.

WCIM 2010 and Physicians Week, will offer a stimulating educational program with many networking opportunities with your peers and a chance to keep abreast of the latest advances in health technologies. With the addition of Physicians Week, the event will incorporate contributions by the various arms of the College, including the Divisions, Faculties, Chapters and other Specialty Societies affiliated with the College.

To date, the World Congress will incorporate the following organisations:

Furthermore, while an excellent academic program is being arranged, please note that March, being late summer, is the best time of the year to visit Melbourne and the rest of Australia and New Zealand. The weather is warm and sunny, and there are lots of activities and events to participate in either side of the Congress dates.

As 2010 is still a little way off, keep returning to our website for regular updates as the program develops.

In the meantime, we look forward to meeting many of you in Buenos Aires during WCIM 2008 on 16 - 20 September 2008 and particularly look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne on 20-25 March 2010!
